Tour de Queens preview

See Queens from the comfort of your own bicycle this weekend. Mr. Met will send off bikers of all ages as they embark on a journey through their Queens neighborhoods of northern and western Queens for the fourth annual Tour de Queens on Sunday July 10.

With more than 1,200 people already registered, the Tour de Queens will be a relaxed pace starting in Flushing Meadows Park by the Queens Museum of Art across from the Unisphere at 9 a.m. and go through parks and neighborhoods of Corona, Forest Hills, Glendale, Ridgewood, Maspeth, Sunnyside, Woodside and Jackson Heights. The 20-mile bike ride will end where it started at approximately 1 p.m.

Register online at www.tourdequeens.org. Same day registration will start at 8 a.m on a first come, first serve basis. Bikers under 14 years are required to bring a helmet.
