A new dessert shop offering freshly baked cookie creations and ice cream is opening at a popular strip of businesses in Middle Village starting in June.

Cookies N’ Cream, a Westchester-based gourmet dessert shop with humble beginnings, is expected to officially open its new location at 64-62 Dry Harbor Rd., according to a press release from the company.

The dessert business is officially set to open on Monday, June 3, with the exclusive announcement made on its Instagram page. The shop was first expected to open the day after Memorial Day, as first reported in What Now New York, but will instead open next week.

Over 24 cookie choices are offered at Cookies N’ Cream, ranging from childhood favorites like chocolate chip to modern takes on classic flavors such as oatmeal cinnamon apple pie. The sweet-tooth business also offers dozens of ice cream flavors and sorbets, including some vegan options.

The Middle Village location is owned by Queens locals Queens, Frank Barbone and Sal Fescina. The other two locations are located in Bronxville and Yonkers.

The company’s founder Joe Edwards, has welcomed the franchisees in the effort to open the Middle Village location. “At Cookies N’ Cream, we believe life is short, so we make it sweet,” said Edwards in a statement. “I am thrilled that our franchisees, Frank Barbone and Sal Fescina are bringing our in-demand dessert concept to Queens.”

“My partner and I were drawn to Cookies N’ Cream’s 24 exclusive recipes and the fact that dessert lovers can purchase individual favorites or combine a number of decadent choices,” Barbone went on to say in a statement.

Cookies N’ Cream is expected to have an outdoor space and announce the official grand opening date on its Instagram page.
