City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer and Sanitation Department officials announced the placement of 24 new public trash baskets around Sunnyside and Woodside during a press conference last Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the corner of 46th Street and 48th Avenue. The announcement came after constituents came forward requesting the need for more trash baskets along secondary streets south of Queens Boulevard.
