The Church of the Resurrection in Richmond Hill held a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser last Saturday night, Feb. 11, in which guests not only enjoyed platefuls of pasta but also a performance by the City Twirlers. As noted, the proceeds from the event were divided between the church and City Twirlers, a baton group comprised of children from Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Woodhaven and Forest Hills. Among those shown are Tom Kelly (at far left), vestry member; Carmela Kuchta (second from left), warden of the vestry; Jessica Peregra (fourth from left), director of City Twirlers; Linda Meeth (fourth from right) treasurer of the church and Lisa Sausa (sixth from right), chef and City Twirlers member.
