Cop of the Month Honored In Corona

Sgt. Joseph Tarsio (second from left) was honored as the 110th Precinct Cop of The Month at the council’s Monday, May 21 meeting at the Flanders Field VFW Post. According to Deputy Inspector Ronald Leyson (left), the precinct’s commander, Tarsio was honored for his work on the precinct’s Burglary Unit. Also in the photo are Capt. Mark Wachter (third from left), the precinct’s executive officer, and 110th Precinct Council Sergeant-at-Arms Joseph DiMartino, who ran the meeting. Tarsio’s award plaque was donated by the Times Newsweekly.
