Good Samaritan Honored by 108th Precinct

Mike Novak (center) was honored with a plaque from the 108th Precinct Community Council during its meeting last Tuesday, Apr. 24 at Sunnyside Community Services. Novak was honored for recently rescuing a Sunnyside woman who was being molested. He is shown with Capt. Donald Powers (left) the commanding officer of the 108th Precinct, and Community Council President Diane Ballek, shown holding a state Assembly citation honoring Novak.
