Frank Tramposch

FRANK TRAMPOSCH of Ridgewood died on Friday, August 17, at the age of 95. Of Gottscheer descent, he was the son of Alois Tramposch and Lillian Koestner Tramposch, beloved husband of the late Joseph Tramposch (nee Verderber), devoted father of Elaine Haufe and Joan Haufe, cherished grandfather of Gregory, Steven, Tiffany and Thomas Haufe. He was predeceased by brothers Aloysius, Ernest and Edward. A World War II veteran, he served in the Army Military Police. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, August 21, at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Village Chapels, 67-67 Eliot Ave., Middle Village.
