New Prosecutors Join Queens D.a.’s Office

Fifteen recent law school graduates were installed as assistant district attorneys by Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown during a ceremony last Tuesday, Sept. 4, at his Kew Gardens office. As noted, the new prosecutors will begin their careers with an intensive training course, including taking part in lectures, courtroom observation and mock hearings. After completing training, Brown stated, they will be assigned to the Criminal Court/Intake Bureau, after which they will have the chance to take on assignments in the Appeals Bureau and the Investigations Division.
