Assemblyman Mike Miller held his second annual Hispanic Heritage Awards ceremony last Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Richmond Hill Block Association’s Jamaica Avenue headquarters. The honorees included (from left) Wilson Vargas of Dynamic Realty in Richmond Hill; Jose Quizhpi, exeutive assistant to the President and CEO of HELP/PSI, a nonprofit healthcare organization; Kaitlyn Perez and Alexa Criollo, two Forest Hills High School seniors who volunteered at Miller’s office; Julio Batista, amember of various community and religious organizations throughout the city; Therese Robbano, a volunteer at All Nations Baptist Church; and Assemblyman Miller. The seventh award recipient, City Council Member Diana Reyna, was unable to attend.
