The Peter Cardella Senior Center in Ridgewood dedicated its dining hall in honor of former State Sen. Serphin Maltese during a ceremony last Thursday, Sept. 27. As noted, over 300 seniors as well as a host of local elected officials participated in the tribute to Maltese, who served in the State Senate for 20 years and is currently the chairman of the board at Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village.
