Epic Seminar for Glendale Seniors

Seniors at the Sacred Heart Golden Age Center in Glendale recently learned about changes to the state’s Medicare-Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC) program with a seminar hosted by State Sen. Joseph Addabbo. As noted, representatives of the state Department of Health provided an overview of the modified program, which was enhanced through the restoration of $30.6 million in funding for the 2012-13 state budget. Addabbo is pictured alongside the Health Department’s Gema Diaz, who gave the lecture.
