LIC muggers punch, steal from victims: NYPD [With Video]

LONG ISLAND CITY — The city Police Department was reaching out to the public hoping to find suspects wanted in connection with a robbery pattern within the 114th Precinct, the NYPD said.

The first incident occurred May 3 around 6:30 p.m. on 11th Street, police said. The victim was approached by two suspects who punched him in the face and stole his property, cops said.

One week later, police said a suspect approached another victim on 13th Street around 4:45 p.m. before punching him in the face and stealing property.

The third incident was recorded May 31 around 6:45 a.m. in the vicinity of 40th Avenue and 9th Street, the NYPD said. Then, a victim was approached from behind, punched in the face and had property stolen, police said.

Minor injuries were reported in all the incidents, the NYPD said.

Police described two suspects as black men in their 20s.
