Police officer charged with DWI in SE Queens: NYPD

QUEENS VILLAGE — An off-duty city police officer was arrested on charges of driving drunk, the NYPD said.

Eric Simpson, 33, was arrested around 5:30 a.m. Nov. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
