New York City will say goodbye to Avonte Oquendo Saturday.
The 14-year-old autistic boy’s funeral will take place at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Joseph’s, at 371 Sixth Ave. in Greenwich Village.
A private service will precede the funeral at Greenwich Village Funeral Home.
Avonte vanished from his Long Island City school Oct. 4. His disappearance triggered a citywide search that thousands of volunteers joined. His remains were discovered on the shore in College Point Thursday night.
