Night Closure On The 7 Line

There will be no 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square-42nd Street from 11:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28. During this period, 7 trains will only operate between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main Street.

For service between Queens and Manhattan, transfer to the N train at Queensboro Plaza or the E or F trains at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue.

Free shuttle buses will replace 7 train service in Long Island City between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue. These buses will stop at Queens Plaza for access to the E train.

The shuttle buses will stop at the 7 line stations as follows:

– Queensboro Plaza-on Queens Plaza South at 27th Street;

– Queens Plaza-on Jackson Avenue at Orchard Avenue;

– Court Square-23rd Street-on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue (to Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue) or at Thomson Avenue (to Queensboro Plaza);

– Hunters Point Avenue-on 21st Street at 49th Avenue; and

– Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue-on Vernon Boulevard at 50th Avenue.

No N Train Service In Astoria Sat. & Sun.

N train service will be suspended between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25-26, from 5:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Shuttle buses will replace N train service and make all local stops between the two stations. N trains will operate normally between Queensboro Plaza and Stillwell Avenue. Riders can transfer between the shuttle bus and the N train at Queensboro Plaza to continue their trip .

The shuttle buses will stop at the N train stations as follows:

– Queensboro Plaza-on Queens Plaza South at 27th Street;

– 39th Avenue-on 31st Street at 39th Avenue;

– 36th Avenue-on 31st Street at 36th Avenue;

– Broadway-on 31st Street at Broadway;

– 30th Avenue-on 31st Street at 30th Avenue;

– Astoria Boulevard-on 31st Street at Astoria Boulevard (to Ditmars Boulevard) and at Hoyt Avenue North (to Queensboro Plaza);

– Ditmars Boulevard-on 31st Street between Ditmars Boulevard and 23rd Avenue.

Additionally, Manhattan-bound N trains will skip the 30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th Avenue and 39th Avenue stations on Tuesday, Jan. 28, through Friday, Jan. 31, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. During this period, there will be no Q train service between 57th Street and Ditmars Boulevard.

For service to these stations, take the N train to Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to an Astoria-bound N train. For service from these stations, take the N train to Astoria Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound N train.

Weekend Line Switch For E Trains Thru Qns.

E trains will run on the F line in both directions between Roosevelt Avenue and West Fourth Street this weekend, from 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27. Jamaica Center-bound F trains will run on the E line after the 21st Street- Queensbridge station, and World Trade Center-bound E trains will resume regular E train service after West Fourth Street.

Free shuttle buses will be provided connecting E train riders from the 21st Street-Queensbridge station to the Queens Plaza and Court Square-23rd Street stops.

Additionally, E and F trains will run local service between 36th Street and 71st-Continental Avenues in both directions this weekend, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

More Split Service On L Line In Bklyn.

L train service will operate in two sections-between Eighth Avenue and Broadway Junction and between Broadway Junction and Canarsie- Rockaway Parkway-this weekend, from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27; and Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 21-22, from 11 a.m. until 3:05 p.m.

Riders can transfer between L trains at Broadway Junction to continue their trip.

During this period, it was noted, all L trains running between Broadway Junction and Canarsie- Rockaway Parkway will operate every 24 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

A Trains Skips Two

Ozone Park Stations

Manhattan-bound A trains will skip the 111th Street and 104th Street stations on Thursday, Jan. 23, and Friday, Jan. 24, from 9:45 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For service to these stations, take the Q112 bus along Liberty Avenue. For service from these stations, take the A train to Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
