Corona Plaza under the elevated 7 subway line at 103rd Street recently got cleaned up by a few dozen volunteers from the Aliento de Vida Church, P.S. 16 students and the Queens Economic Development Corporation as they joined forces to beautify the public space. They picked up trash, patched up a dangerous tree pit and planted an array of annual and perennial flowers. The volunteers are pictured at the event.
