Man shot on Beach Channel Drive: NYPD

ARVERNE — A 30-year-old man was shot in Arverne Monday afternoon and brought to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, the NYPD said.

The Police Department said it was called to Beach Channel Drive near Beach 58th Street at 12:53 p.m. Monday, where a 30-year-old man had been shot.

Cops described the victim as highly uncooperative and said he was brought to Jamaica Hospital with injuries that did not threaten his life, the NYPD said.
