A 15-year-old boy was shot in the face in Glen Oaks Saturday evening in a possible attempted robbery, police said.
The boy had been sitting in the Memorial Park, on Little Neck Parkway, just before 8 p.m., when he was shot by a man, who then took off on foot, according to cops.
The victim was taken to North Shore-LIJ, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police described the suspect as a 5-foot-5 Hispanic man in his 30s, with a full beard.
