Two Bronx-bound lanes on the Throgs Neck Bridge will be closed this weekend, Aug. 14 to 17, for asphalt and binder work on the bridge.
One Bronx-bound lane will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, a second lane will be closed as follows: 10 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday; 10 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday; and 10 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
The work is dependent on good weather, as it cannot be performed under rainy or humid conditions.
