The 108th Precinct is looking for a man who allegedly broke into a convenience store near LaGuardia Community College last month and made off with cigarettes, lottery tickets and cash, according to the NYPD.

The suspect gained entry to MDS Corp, at 32-02 Queens Blvd. in Long Island City, by breaking the front glass door around 9 p.m. Aug. 29, police said. Once inside the suspect grabbed 52 cartons of cigarettes, 59 scratch-off lottery tickets and nearly $200 from the cash register, investigators said.

The bearded suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt, dark colored shorts, black socks, dark-colored sneakers and he had a black and red backpack. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
