Actors Jaden Smith and Shia LeBeouf showed up to the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria today to participate in a performance piece called “He Will Not Divide Us.”
A camera mounted outside of a wall at the museum, located at 36-01 35th Ave., will capture passersby who are encouraged to say the words “he will not divide us.” Smith, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son, posted a tweet standing in front of a wall featuring those words at about 9 a.m. this morning, DNAinfo first reported.

According to the project’s website, anyone is invited to stare into the camera and say the words “he will not divide us” for as long as they’d like. There is also a live-stream for those interested in watching and it will be live-streamed continuously for four years.
“In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community,” the project’s website said.
You can watch the live-stream here.
