A total of 630 Ozone Park residents were left without electricity following an outage this morning, according to Con Edison officials.

Con Ed spokesman Allan Drury said the outage was caused by a manhole fire on the corner of Crossbay Boulevard and Rockaway Boulevard. Drury said the outage started at 10:53 a.m. and service was restored at 12:33 p.m.

According to Drury, the manhole fire caused a fault on an underground cable.

The perimeter of the outage to the north is Rockaway Boulevard; to the south is 133rd Avenue; to the east is 98th Street; and to the west is 86th Street.
