Cops are looking for a man who broke into two South Richmond Hill apartments within less than an hour of each other and stole cash and valuables.
According to police, at 2:03 p.m. on May 8, an unknown man entered an apartment in the vicinity of Liberty Avenue and 120th Street by breaking the door’s deadlock. The suspect took jewelry and $500 in cash before fleeing the scene.
Later that same day at 2:30 p.m., the suspect broke into another apartment in a separate building located in the vicinity of Liberty Avenue and 120th Street by breaking the door’s deadlock. Once inside, the suspect stole a safe that contained gold and silver bars.
