The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning Take 5 ticket was sold in Jamaica for the Saturday, Oct. 22, drawing.
The ticket worth $38,791, was sold by Seven Days Food Store Inc., located at 90-83 Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica.
Take 5 players choose five numbers from 1 to 39. In order to win, players must check the winning numbers at nylottery.ny.gov or they can watch the televised drawing at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. A prize of any amount can be claimed up to one year from the date of drawing.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2021-22 to help support education in New York State.
