Three men sought in mugging of F train rider inside Parsons Boulevard station: NYPD

An F train rider in Jamaica was menaced, assaulted and robbed by a group of men during the morning rush on Monday, Nov. 21, inside the Parsons Boulevard subway station, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred at around 8 a.m., when the 21-year-old victim was standing on the platform waiting for the F train and one of the suspects began to harass him. Two other men joined in and the victim was slugged in the face and his cellphone was taken before the three suspects ran off, police said. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the incident on Nov. 27.

One of the assailants wore eyeglasses and a hooded blue bubble jacket, light-colored pants and a black backpack. The second suspect wore a tan camouflage hooded sweatshirt and a blue jacket and dark pants and the third man wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers, police said.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the muggers.
