NYPD searching for thief who robbed man in front of Ridgewood deli

Officers from the NYPD’s 104th Precinct are looking for the thief who robbed a 61-year-old man in front of a Ridgewood deli on Monday, Dec. 12.

According to the NYPD, at approximately 4:25 a.m., the victim was counting money outside Classic Deli & Grill, located at 686 Seneca Ave., before being approached by the armed suspect. The crook proceeded to demand money from the victim.

The thief took $150 before using his firearm to hit the victim in the arm and fleeing in a black Ford SUV with Pennsylvania license plates, according to authorities.
