Holiday traveling will be a little easier this year flying out of LaGuardia.
LaGuardia Link Q70 Select Bus Service, which provides non-stop service linking Terminals B, C and D with the Long Island Rail Road and No. 7 train at Woodside and several subway lines at the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station, will be free on this Thursday and Friday, the Port Authority said.
In addition, travelers arriving in cars Friday can use long-term parking lot T-10 for free. Free parking will be on a first- come first-serve basis. The Port Authority advises drivers to enter the lot through the 82nd Street Bridge, not 94th Street bridge. This is meant to help customers get to their gates quicker and alleviate traffic in the terminals and roadways.
Friday is expected to be the busiest day of the holiday travel season at the airport.
