QUEENSBRIDGE —— A 28-year-old man was shot in the leg by an unidentified person early Sunday, police said.
The victim was shot at Vernon Boulevard and 40th Avenue in Queensbridge at about 4:25 a.m., said Carmen Melendez, a police spokeswoman.
He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and listed in stable condition, Melendez said.
