Newly elected Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi will be the guest speaker at the December 11th meeting of the Kew Forest-Woodside-Loitz Post 250, Jewish War Veterans of the USA.
The legislator will speak at the Rego Park Jewish Center, 97-30 Queens Boulevard, where the veterans hold their monthly meetings.
The commander of the group, Spencer Polinger, said that he had invited the community to come and hear Hevesi discuss his ideas and strategies as an Assemblyman in Albany.
There is no admission charge and all are welcome.
