When asked, it was difficult for Molloy Coach Jack Curran to exactly describe the kind of team he had. Because of injuries, he has yet to practice with a full complement of players.
The Iona-bound shooting guard Milan Prodanovic, one of the top marksman in the city, has been out, nursing a sprained ankle, and 6-foot-8 center Kelly Morgan has practiced just twice because of a strained groin.
When everyone does get healthy, Curran expects to have a pretty good shooting team. Junior Rocco Rubino, a talented combo guard, senior point guard Justin Baylosis and 6-foot-4 wing Matt Grogan all can stroke it from long range, as can Morgan. They figure to get up and down quite a bit.
