A 22-year-old Bayside man has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a73-year-old woman in a Queens park last summer. The victim had just completed Tai Chi exercises when she was tackled and knocked to the ground.
District Attorney Richard A. Brown identified the defendant as Robert McKeon, 22, of 61-92 219th Street in Bayside, who pleaded guilty to sexual abuse in the first degree before Queens Supreme Court Justice Robert Raciti, who indicated that he would sentence the defendant to a determinate term of four years in prison on February 16.
The defendant admitted in court that on August 10, 2005 at Kissena Park, near Peck Avenue and Kissena Boulevard, he sexually abused the woman. The victim sustained a broken sternum and bruising.
