On January 22, at 2 p.m., Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts continues its FamilyFun Series with Tap Kids. Directed and choreographed by Lisa Hopkins, Tap Kids features eight of the nations most talented young tap dancers that take to the stage in a rousing, joyous celebration of American youth culture.

With an original score that ranges from pop and funk to jazz and Broadway, Tap Kids takes this traditional dance form to new heights in a hip, contemporary, and uplifting performance that has wowed audiences of all ages.
Tickets are $15-$8; the show is at the Walt Whitman Theatre on the campus of Brooklyn College (one block from junction of Flatbush & Nostrand avenues). For more information, call 718-951-4500 or visit www.BrooklynCenterOnline.org.
