Black Health Empowerment Project

Congressman Gregory Meeks hosted the Congressional Black Caucus Foundations’ Black Health Empowerment Project at York College to address obesity and health. The daylong community health event is designed to educate African Americans about the relationship between obesity and chronic health conditions. The health fair included complimentary nutritious foods, cooking demonstrations, fitness segments, health workshops and fun activities for kids.
