Men Arrested After Shootout

One day after a shootout with police, two men — including the alleged shooter — were arrested.
According to reports, plainclothes cops stopped a car at Foch Boulevard and 169th Street on Saturday, April 19. At that point, the occupants of the vehicle jumped out and started to run. One allegedly opened fire on the cops, who shot back, hitting him in the leg and the arm. He was taken to Mary Immacuate Hospital in stable condition. The cops were treated for trauma at Jamaica Hospital. A semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene.
