Your car’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) can help reduce your car insurance premium. By having the VIN etched on various parts of your car, it makes them traceable and less attractive to thieves. One such event, sponsored by Assemblymember Michael Gianaris, was held by cops from the 114th Precinct in Astoria on Thursday July 17. It was held in the parking lot of the Costco store at 32-50 Vernon Boulevard in Astoria.
