Film Festival coming up

Alejandro is a tough orphan who spends his days working in a Willets Point auto body shop. In the difficult environment of the Iron Triangle, he tries to take care of himself and his 16-year-old sister, Isamar.
This and other stories set in locations like Colombia, Burundi and France will be available on the big screen between September 18 and September 21 during The Third Annual Jackson Heights Film Festival, held in The Eagle Theater on 73-07 37th Road, Jackson Heights.
Admission for each evening screening is $10, but those who intend to attend more than one evening can buy an unlimited $20 pass. One option is to buy tickets online, from jhfff.org.
On Sunday, September 21, The Jackson Heights Kids Film Festival will kick off at the same location.
