106th PRECINCT
Deputy Inspector Joseph G. Courtesis, Commanding Officer, reports that nine arrests have been made in regards to a burglary pattern.
Late last year, there were 13 daytime burglaries – eight of which were home break-ins – in South Ozone Park. The incidents occurred from Aqueduct to 130th Street, from Rockaway Boulevard to the North Conduit.
Of the homes that were hit, said Courtesis, two were under construction, and one house was broken into twice.
Of the arrests, Frank Dardani, President of the Precinct Community Council, said, “This precinct deserves a big round of applause.”
