Padavan honors Flushing Eagles

There were honors by the handful, as five new Eagle Scouts from Flushing Troop 255 were honored recently. The five were elevated at an Honor Court ceremony preceding the troop’s 70th Annual Family Dinner at the new Reception House in Flushing on Friday March 12.

Senator Frank Padavan presented (from left) Justin Ng, Jonathan Lee, James Lee, Brian Kim and Ammar Jaber with the New York State Senate Medal for Outstanding Achievement and Certificate of Merit for their dedication and hard work toward obtaining Boy Scouting’s highest rank.

Padavan was also honored with an award from the Conron Camp Foundation by Troop 255 Scoutmaster Anthony Drew (left) and Conron Camp Foundation President Howie Schubert.
