SUNNYSIDE – On Sunday, November 7, The Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside honored five honorees for their commitment to the community.
This year’s honorees were City Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer, Dr. Christopher Kitson, P.S. 199 Principal Anthony Inzerillo, Peter Sarro and Past President of The Kiwanis Pamella Winter.
For more than 63 years the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside has helped enrich the community with various service projects like the Annual Sunnyside Flag Day Parade and has raised thousands of dollars through their fundraising efforts to help local organizations like the YMCA and Sunnyside Community Services.
