An unidentified man sitting at the right side curb line of the south bound Van Wyck Expressway was killed when a car struck him – and then fled the scene.
The incident happened on Tuesday December 7 on the southbound Van Wyck near 97th Avenue. EMS responded to the location and took the victim Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
