I only have to look out my door to see the owner of the corner house on my block has yet to shovel any part of his sidewalk. They did clear a path to reach their car though.
Dozens of cars remain parked perpendicular to the curb four days after the storm ended. Big SUV’s are too lazy to park on a whole four inches of snow, so they park 10 feet from the curb. Hundreds of cars double parked on Union Turnpike.
The self propelled snow blowers all seem to have stopped working just before the crosswalks. They apparently all worked great when it came to throwing snow out in the street.
Where are the traffic agents? How about doubling tickets/ fines on bus routes during snow emergencies?
Let us do something other than complain and fix something for next storm.
