Senior fitness program in parks

The City Parks Foundation, an independent nonprofit that offers park programs, is hosting free fitness for seniors, 60 years and older. The program, CityParks Seniors Fitness, will begin the week of September 19 and offers seniors the chance to take free tennis lessons, yoga instruction and fitness walking.
The program runs through October 28 and classes take place for one hour, twice a week at the following Queens parks. For more information, call the foundation’s sports department at 718-760-6999 or visit their website: www.cityparksfoundation.org
