The Martin Luther School Junior Varsity girls clinched first place in their PSAA Conference with their ninth win in a row, defeating Staten Island Academy 50-30.
Dana Azarro scored 14 points, Leslly Marmolejo added 10 points and seven assists and Toya Brown contributed six points and nine rebounds. Franchon Martinez and Xena Andersen added six points each.
The team has two games remaining before the playoffs.
