Gryc Helps Interns ‘connect to Success’

The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council (GRYC) has launched a third cycle of its “Connect to Success” young adult internship program. The program is for individuals between 16 and 24 years of age who are looking to develop work readiness skills and reconnect to educational opportunities. This initiative is supported by the Center for Economic Opportunity and the Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD) and is designed to provide leading professionals with qualified interns. All participants are selected through a competitive process in order to complete a 14-week paid Internship and a three-week curriculum focused on work readiness and leadership development. Shown among the interns are DYCD Program Manager Veronica Woolford, Program Director Robert Molina, GRYC Director of Program Operations Janine Mahon and GRYC staff members. For more information on the program, call the GRYC at 1-718-456-KIDS.
