Three people were injured after a SUV and sedan collided at the corner of 60th Street and Metropolitan Avenue on the Ridgewood/Maspeth border at around 10:15 a.m. last Wednesday, June 20, Fire Department sources said. Members of Engine Co. 291, Ladder Co. 140, the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The victims were taken by paramedics to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment of injuries which were not life-threatening.
