Suspects wanted in Queens sex assaults

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects in connection to a series of recent sex assaults in Queens.

On June 22, at 2:30 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was walking in front of 97-11 Horace Harding Expressway, when suspect #2, an unidentified black male, walked up behind her and sexually abused her, said police. The victim, who was walking with a shopping cart, hit suspect #2 with the shopping cart and the suspect fled. Suspect #1, Ragis Ibrahima then ran up to the victim, threw her to the ground and attempted to rape her, according to the NYPD. The victim fought back and the suspect fled. The victim was brought to an area hospital where she was treated for bruising and lacerations to her body.

Ragis is also wanted for sexual abuse, rape and robbery in connection with three other attacks on young women that occured in Forest Hills in the early morning hours of  May 19, May 28 and June 3, said police.

Suspect #1,  Ragis Ibrahima, is described as a black male, 20 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, weighing 160 pounds with black hair. (See photo above)

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years-old, 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 150 pounds, and was wearing only dark blue basketball shorts at the time of the incident. (See sketch below)
