UPDATE: Missing boy, 14, from Rich Hill sought by cops

RICHMOND HILL — The NYPD was seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Richmond Hill teen.

According to police, Devon Ramsammy, 14, was last seen leaving his residence on Lefferts Blvd., Friday around 3:30 p.m. July 13. Police described the boy as being 5-foot-8, 97 pounds and of Asian descent.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with blue shorts, police said.

Anyone with information on the incidents was asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hot line at 1-800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

UPDATE: The boy was found within 24 hours of the missing report being released, according to police.
