Theater Troupe Goes Into the Woods

For their annual summer show, the Jubilee Cluster Players will raise the curtain this weekend on their production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. As noted, the musical-a twist on classic fairy tales-is directed by Barbara Auriemma, with music directed by Frank B. Auriemma and choreography by Christine Hinz. Shown above is the cast, which includes Annice Auriemma, Alicia Brosky, Melissa Corona, Gary Ducoing, Alison Duignan, Loejjie Estacio, Kristin Hellmann, Charles and Christine Hinz, Joy Huber, Richard Miller, Kristin Minara, Francesca Negron, Jimmy O’Neill, David Risley and Lauren Snyder. The first performance will take place on Friday night, Aug. 3, at 8 p.m. at Glendale/Maspeth United Methodist Church, located at 66-14 Central Ave. in Glendale, followed by performances on two Saturdays, Aug. 4 and 11, at 8 p.m. and two Sundays, Aug. 5 and 12, at 3 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church, located at 75-27 Metropolitan Ave. in Middle Village.
