Man Cuffed For Indecent Exposure In Glendale
Police collared a Bushwick man last Tuesday, May 7, accused of flashing himself to a 12-year-old girl on a Glendale street last month, it was reported.
Law enforcement sources identified the perpetrator as 29-year-old Mario Bello of Greene Avenue.
According to information provided by the Queens District Attorney’s office, the indecent exposure occurred between 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Apr. 30 at the intersection of 88th Street and Myrtle Avenue.
Reportedly, Bello called out at the 12-year-old girl and asked her to look at him. Prosecutors said Bello allegedly pulled his penis out of his pants, then fled from the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was later reported to the 104th Precinct.
Following an investigation, Bello was questioned and taken into custody last Tuesday by P.O. Michael Sciame of the 104th Precinct and charged with public lewdness, harassment, exposure and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to court records, Bello was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court last Tuesday before Judge Michelle Armstrong, who ordered him held on $1,500 bail.
He is scheduled to return to court on May 22.
