New York City’s first lady, Chirlane McCray, was a guest of honor during Rep. Joe Crowley’s Black History Month celebration last Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the First Baptist Church in East Elmhurst. McCray, the wife of Mayor Bill de Blasio, delivered the keynote address during the event recognizing the sacrifices and achievements made by African-Americans through the years.
